It looks like this is asking you to prove that segments AC and BC are perpendicular using the slope formula. \[m=\frac{ y_2-y_1 }{ x_2-x_1 }\]
what would y and x be? @peachpi
you'd use the coordinates of the points. For example, A is (-c, 0) so for point A, x = -c and y = 0.
so to find the slope of AC, the points to plug into the formula would be (-c, 0) and (a, b)

(b)/(a+c) is not in any of the answer choices @peachpi
I used that formula but I don't get the answer.
are you sure, b/(a + c) looks like it's part of 3 of the answer choices
so you have the slope of AC. Find the slope of BC
does it equal = -1 or = 1?
