OpenStudy (anonymous):

uhh yess or uhh noo or uhh i dont knoww

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes? 100% sure

OpenStudy (inkyvoyd):

no one can be 100% sure. You ought to just use your own brain if you want to be 100% sure. That being said, if the area of a rectangle is length times width, as the area increases, of the length is kept constant, the width must increase directly proportionally. That is what that formula is.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

but if u had to chose would u choose directly

OpenStudy (inkyvoyd):

I already chose directly... if you read what I said closely, and think about what happens when the area of a rectangle goes up but the length stays the same, you'll realize that if the area doubles, the width has to double. By definition, A varies proportionally with w, and vice versa.
