Help with the Product Rule. (posting equation below)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I have to find the derivative of \[\sqrt[3]{x}(\sqrt{x}+3)\] but I'm not sure how.

OpenStudy (loser66):

still need help?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes please

OpenStudy (loser66):

what is the product rule for (ab)' ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I don't think I've learned the "product rule for (ab)'" yet.

OpenStudy (loser66):

(a*b)' = a'b + b'a, right?

OpenStudy (loser66):

your a is \(\sqrt[3]x\) and your b is \(\sqrt x +3\)

OpenStudy (loser66):

so, just apply the rule

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Oh okay. That makes things much easier.
