Help.? medal & fan. How are hydrogen bonds different from covalent bonds? The resulting compounds contain carbon They are organic Hydrogen bonds are weaker bonds that form from molecules that have a slight positive charge on one side and a slight negative charge on the other They have valence electrons

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Only nitrogen, oxygen, and fluorine atoms can interact with hydrogen to form hydrogen bond; this is different than a hydrogen covalent bond. In a hydrogen bond, the lone pair electrons on oxygen, nitrogen, or fluorine interact with the partial positive hydrogen that is covalently bonded to one of those atoms.

OpenStudy (barreraa):

The answer to your question is "Hydrogen bonds are weaker than covalent bonds and form between partially charged atoms or molecules" ... Hope this helps!!! @dopeeaf
