Can someone please explain to me in detail the steps to solving this. I need to find the measure of BD. I know the answer is 35 but i need to know how. If you can help i would be very thankful. Use the formula above with the info from your problem. In the figure above, the formula shows that the measure of the angle is half of the difference of the measures of the arcs. In your case, you have \(m<C = \dfrac{m(AE) - m(BD)}{2} \) You know the measure of angle C, and you know the measure of arc AE. Plug in those values into the formula just above, and solve for the measure of arc BD.
