Seeking help!! I am aware that in order to add/subtract rational expressions, one must find the least common denominator first. I would like to know how to solve rational expressions with a common factor in the denominator. Thanks!

If the denominators are factorable, you should factor them as a first step and then find the Least Common Multiple which will be your common denominator.
