you need to solve the reactions then you need to look on a solubility chart to see if the products of the reactions are soluble or insoluble or one one is soluble and the other is not
ok, for NH4Cl + Pb(NO3)2 You can look charges up but these are the ions: NH4 has a charge of +1 Cl has a charge of -1 Pb +2 NO3 -1 charge Pb +2 charge Assuming double displacement and also assuming that electromotive force isnt a thing in this question (these reactions are spontaneous) NH4Cl + Pb(NO3)2 -> NH4NO3 + PbCl2 Look at the ions formed NH4 + NO3 - Pb +2 Cl - Check your rules or the solubility table http://www2.ucdsb.on.ca/tiss/stretton/CHEM1/stoich2.html
