Are the "worked examples" of the same difficulty level as part2 of the problems sets on the other versions of this course?
You should be able to learn calculus with the SC version. If you like, you can tackle the problem sets in the 18.01 course, but I don't think answers are provided.
altogether, there are three versions of 18.01, one of them has problems sets with a part1 and part2( along with the solutions) but is the syllabus covered the same as those in the video lecture? (its a different professor) http://ocw.mit.edu/courses/mathematics/18-01-single-variable-calculus-fall-2005/
@phi
Yes, I believe they all cover the same basic syllabus. The non-SC versions are the courses an MIT freshman takes. You can use them, but there are some short-comings: 1) no Teacher Assistant sessions, where the material is reviewed 2) no cooperation with other students (often the Part 2 problems are tackled as a "group") 3) Answers not provided for the problems. If you want another take on calculus, see http://ocw.mit.edu/resources/res-18-006-calculus-revisited-single-variable-calculus-fall-2010/index.htm
