these electrons are in the same energy level principe quantum number n is 4 right? now mL = shape right? since it's 3, we can have mL -2,-1,-3,0,1,2,3 7 orientations and in each of these we have 2 electrons for a grand total of 14 electrons. these are the total amount of electrons that can be held in this orbital. and because of the number of orientations available we know that this is an f orbital. the electron is spin up or spin down. which is m/s clearly both electrons are spin up. |dw:1443975346888:dw| The only difference is that these are in different orientations of mL
