Hey, to solve this problem you need to find the volume of each object. The formula for density is \[Density =\frac{ mass }{ volume }\] So in order to find the volume of each one, you need to solve for volume. That equation will look like this: \[Volume =\frac{ mass }{ density }\] At this point, you just need to plug your numbers in for object a and then plug your numbers in for object b. *The object with the larger volume would displace the most water. It should also be noted that your instructor provided the density in g/cm^3 While cm^3 is one way to measure volume, if you are displacing water chances are you will be using mL as the unit of volume. Luckily the conversion is easy as 1 cubic centimeter is equal to one mL. So whatever the volume comes out to be, your answer will convert easily. (Ex: if my volume is 4 cm^3 that's the same thing as saying the volume is 4 mL). Hope this helps!
