replace every "x" with "x/(x+1)"
f(f(x)) = [x/(x+1)]/(x/(x+1) + 1)
Can you explain what to do with the f?
nothing, just leave f(f(x)) alone and work on the right side
sorry, i'm still a little confused. there is only one x, but you have x/(x+1)/x/(x+1)?

there are two x's
f(x) = x/(x+1) there is one x in the numerator, one x in the denominator
f(f(x)) means replace every "x" with f(x), which is also equal to x/(x+1), so we replace every "x" in f(x) with "x/(x+1))
it might make a bit more sense if I try drawing it out
