the electron configuration for calcium is 1s^2 2s^2 2p^6 3s^2 3p^6 4s^2 i don't know any of the others off the top of my head :(

OpenStudy (edbf123):

its ok thanks tho

OpenStudy (jebonna):

If the question says calcium ion, do you need the configuration for calcium (Ca) or Ca^2+? Because if its for the ion, then you would just need to take away two electrons from the configuration kah.x did :)

OpenStudy (edbf123):

it just says calcium ion

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@jebonna is right. i just gave you the configuration for calcium, which is different than a calcium ion

OpenStudy (edbf123):

i think it wants the configuration not the ion

OpenStudy (edbf123):

what about the other questions
