Hydroxide is a strong base, so it will completely react when you add it. So every molecule of hydroxide you add will turn an acid into a conjugate base. This is super useful cause now you just have to calculate the moles of base you add and subtract that from the moles of acid. Molarity is the convenient unit of concentration for this, since molarity is moles of solute per liters of solution. So you can use this handy rule here for comparing moles: \[M_1V_1=M_2V_2\]
can you give me the answer then we work it out
