What is 9 + 10x

OpenStudy (anonymous):

19x maybe

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I think it is 19x not sure.

OpenStudy (jennithemeani):

1. set it to 0 to find x 9+10x=0 2. subtract 9 from both sides 10x=-9 3. Divide both sides by 10 x=-9/10 4. Fill in for x 9+10 (-9/10)= 9+-90/10= 9-9=0 The answer is 0

OpenStudy (anonymous):

No matter what x is, the answer will always be more than 9.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

It won't be 19x unless it is 9x+10x, in which case it is not

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Could you help me on a problem jennithemeani?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Or The Savior

OpenStudy (anonymous):

This expression will not be simplified further, it is not a question to be answered, it is already done

OpenStudy (anonymous):

sure

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I'm stuck on this problem. 3√2^7 rewrite the radical as a rational exponent.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

okay.. ill work on it

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Ok thank you.

OpenStudy (jennithemeani):

I suck at Radicals so ill give this one to TheSavior

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Haha. Okay

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Im bad at them too...I need your help xD

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Who's help?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

jenni

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Oh ok

OpenStudy (anonymous):

lol @TheSavior @jennithemeani @rainey_the_blondie

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Can you help? Gideon.Hill?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Sorry i cant i havn't went over this in class

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@rainey_the_blondie

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Ok.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

im googling hehe

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Haha

OpenStudy (anonymous):

CHEATER @TheSavior

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Can you fan me @rainey_the_blondie

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Surre

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Im pretty sure its 4+1/3

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I dont know how to do a mixed number.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

oh nvm its 4^1/3

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Those aren't the options. It's okay. I'll just figure it out somehow. Thank you.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

the answer is four to the power of one third... you dont need to figure anything out

OpenStudy (anonymous):

The options are 2^3/4 2^7/3 2^21 2^4

OpenStudy (anonymous):

3√2^7 you take what ever type of root (lets say cube root which is ^3) and that is your denoiminator, then take the power the number is raised to (in this case is 7) there fore it would be 2^7/3

OpenStudy (anonymous):

The second one

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Oh... I didn't know that! Thank you so much if I have another question could I ask you later?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

btw, dont thank me, it took longer than it should've... thank Mathispower4u on youtube, that was my reference =D

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Lol okay. Thanks anyways.
