Carbon monoxide would only be produced if there was not enough oxygen in the reaction, still if you wanted to include it you could reduce the oxygen to only 12 and have: 2 C3H6 + 6 O2 -> 6 CO + 6 H2O, or any mix between this and your equation. Complete combustion is what you have described, and is probably what is being asked of you.
