OpenStudy (fandude727):

Hey guys, I made a website with javascript, html5, and css3 how would you go about hosting?

OpenStudy (rsmith6559):

Some ISPs give you space on their servers, a few megs, that you can put a website on. You'll probably need to relink your href tags. You can host a website from home, but you may have to change what port the webserver listens on. HTML, CSS and JavaScript, from a server point of veiw, is static content. Simple to set up on a server.

OpenStudy (fandude727):

How do you change the port? and how to find the port?

OpenStudy (woodrow73):

For paid server hosts, hostgator isn't bad. I haven't hosted one from my own computer before though.

OpenStudy (fandude727):

Alright then all have a look

OpenStudy (rsmith6559):

Don't bother trying to host it on your own machine. You'll need some knowledge of networking to do it.

OpenStudy (fandude727):

Alright then. @rsmith6559
