Aisle 2 of a furniture store stocks 4-legged chairs, 4-legged tables, and 3-legged stools. If there are t tables, c chairs, and s stools, which expressions show the total number of furniture legs in aisle 2?
please help me lol
@Lexi_Loves
I missed the part about furniture legs. I thought it was t + c + s for how much furniture was in aisle 2.
so what do i do now
count all the legs per piece of furniture and multiple it by the each variable per type of furniture
.... WOW.....
try unit analysis you want the answer in legs per aisle legs/aisle = (legs/table)( table/aisle) + (legs/chair)( chair/aisle) + (legs/stool)(stools/aisle) another way is All Pieces of Furniture = APofF = t + c + s If APofF has fours legs legs/aisle = [ (APofF/aisle) (4) (legs/APofF) ] - (s legs/aisle) = [(4)(APofF) - s] legs/aisle
