The graph below represents which system of inequalities? graph of two infinite lines that intersect at a point. One line is dashed and goes through the points 0, 2, negative 2, 0 and is shaded in below the line. The other line is dashed, and goes through the points 0, 6, 3, 0 and is shaded in below the line. A y < −2x + 6 y < x + 2 B y ≤ −2x + 6 y ≤ x + 2 C y < 2 over 3x − 2 y > 2x + 2 D None of the above

I think c

OpenStudy (xmissalycatx):

May I see the graph?

OpenStudy (dancergirl45):

OpenStudy (xmissalycatx):

It would not be C. The slope of one of the lines would be just 1/1 not 2/1 so it's just x + 2 not 2x + 2

OpenStudy (xmissalycatx):

And it cannot be B because that would mean the lines are sold, but they aren't, they're dotted. So the only answer left is..?

OpenStudy (dancergirl45):

A

OpenStudy (xmissalycatx):

yep!

OpenStudy (dancergirl45):

Thank you so much
