To help determine the curriculum for the new class, they want to determine which health topics are the biggest issues among middle and high school students in the state. A questionnaire was designed and filled out by 300 middle and high school students in the state. a. Identify the population and sample in the scenario. b. Suppose one of the questions on the questionnaire is "How many times a week do you eat fast food?" Identify possible bias pertaining to this question.

As for B, the most prominent bias regarding student frequency of fast food consumption is the assumption that *all* students eat fast food *regularly*. Of course, a student participant could reply to that question with an answer of 'I don't eat fast food'. But still, we cannot deny that there is that bias. So, if I were you writing this essay, I would probably start off laying down some context to orient the readers, and then argue that a portion of the student population may not even partake in fast food consumption. Of course, as any sound argument, we should consider the counterargument -- that there are evidence, history and context of fast food consumption among student populations across states. But even with this sentiment, we should not fail to acknowledge those who choose wisely with their daily nutritional preferences. Lastly, I would conclude that the importance lies not in the particular question but rather, on the progression of the health class and ultimately, of the students' overall learning.
