Mathematics 10 Online
OpenStudy (pagen13):

Write a polynomial function with given zeros x=-2,1,4

OpenStudy (anonymous):

start with \[(x+2)(x-1)(x-4)\] and then multiply out

OpenStudy (pagen13):

how do I multiply out?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

if \(-\)2 is a zero, then one factor is \(x-(-2)=x+2 \) etc

OpenStudy (anonymous):

idk, if it was me i would use technology so i don't screw up

OpenStudy (anonymous):

but you can do it by hand if you like first multiply \[(x+2)(x-1)\] the usual way, when you get done with that, multiply the result by \(x-4\)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

wanna cheat?

OpenStudy (pagen13):

I wanna know how to do but have the answer to check myself..

OpenStudy (anonymous):

do you know how to multiply this out? the usual four multiplication \[(x+2)(x-1)\]?

OpenStudy (pagen13):

No.

OpenStudy (pagen13):

Whats the answer so I can chcek myself..
