i'm I'M dying of this brand new mathhh..i don't know where do i start here
ugh...9x >-36 how do i need to find solution
divide by 9
i got -9
no i mean -4
Basically you have to do the same thing to both sides because you need to get the x by itself. So in this case divide by 9: 9x>36 9/9x>36/9 x>4
Wait it was -36 sorry, so you're right x>-4
Please dont give direct answers. Let @AloneS do some work
geez thank you!! i'll use your steps with my every problem
@AloneS did get the answer on their own.... and no problem!
Step 1. Divide both sides by 9: \[\frac{ 9x }{ 9 } > \frac{ -36 }{ 9 }\] \[\frac{ 9 }{ 9 } = 1x = x\] \[\frac{ -36 }{ 9 } = -4\] \[Answer: x > -4\]
Do you understand @AloneS
yep they did help both :) thank you..but still so whydo i have to multiply rather than just add like i did
What do u mean Multiply? I divided everything....
nope sorry i was confused .. so last lesson i had was adding and this lesson is multiplying and but i have to divide
All u needed to do was divide 9/9 which equals 1. But, 1x is the same things as x. -36/9 = -4. Do you understand?
O_o now i understand..i see i had problems on 1 always thank you very much!!
Your Welcome ^_^
yeah i guess the steps work well for meh xD thx very much
