PLEASE CHECK MY ANSWERS! WILL REWARD:)
WITH PIC ABOVE^ Which of the following could be used to calculate the area of the sector in the circle shown above? π(5in)30 over 360 π(5in)230 over 360 π(30in)25 over 360 π(30in)5 over 360
I think it B
The formula for area of a sector is: \[A=\frac{ n }{ 360 }\pi(r ^{2})\] Where n is the number of degrees of the angle in the sector, in this case 30. The radius, r is given as 5 so the answer should be \[A=\frac{ 30 }{ 360 }\pi(5)^{2}\] I don't see that as one of the multiple choice answers though. Are you sure you copied them right?
yeah! here ill copy it again.. maybe i missed something...

Well A looks like it could be the right answer, but you have just 5 instead of 5^2.
i see what went wrong! when i copy and pasted it, it didn't include the ^2.. B answer is: pie(5in)^2 (30/360
thats what i got as well, was i right?
Yes! I was wondering why they picked 230, it seemed a bit random. Good job.
haha awesome! my bad on that one haha thank you again! :)
