So, the other day I formulated a challenge in the mathematics section. I saw all of the normal Honorary professors in the question. And mods, and some 99's who had a lot of medals in math. Unfortunately, nobody solved the model. Until, one random user came along who was fairly newbie and he solved 17th hardest equation in the WORLD! I notice all the QH are 99's or are mods. Shouldn't we not underestimate lower ss? Just a thought I had...A lot of people like to base a users intelligence off of their ss. It's saddening. We need to get these users noticed.
LOL!
This user will remain anonymous unless you find the post :P
Is it in the closed section?
Go to my questions asked.
ermm.... u mean this one ? http://new.openstudy.com/users/shifuyanli#/updates/56777892e4b0e4728f394a83
Yes.
Yes, I agree that users smartness should not be based off of their SS but rather their intelligence :-) , the user can show this intelligence by helping out users in the section in which they are an expert in and get their SS up. I know many smart users who are 90SS and under who are amazingly smart, But if they worked to get their SS up I think they would have a shot at being a QH. You can always tell them to apply, heres what you can say: Qualified Helpers are a small group of outstanding and dedicated helpers that have been trained to help users get fast and detailed help on their questions. Moderators can apply to be Qualified Helpers. Non-moderator applicants must: - Have at least one title Apply here to be a Qualified Helper: http://goo.gl/wUODVK
And not all of the QH's are 99 and mods. I am a QH im not even 18 and im not a mod.
Doesn't make sense.
A higher QH shows involvement in the site, that is what we are looking for.
And they to check to make sure it's not a medal spammed SS.
Yes, but we want to ensure QUALIFIED help.
I was inactive for 3 monthd on a 99ss :o
That is why I plan on launching the Openstudy Enforcers.
