f(x)=(x^2-4)/(x-2) is defined everywhere except for x=2. If possible, define f at x=2 so it becomes continuous at x=2.

I wanna make sure I'm doing this right. I simplified the top so that I got (x-2)(x+2)/(x-2), then canceled out x-2 and got x+2. I plugged in 2 to get 2+2=4. is this correct, or is this equation just equal to 0?

OpenStudy (loser66):

yup, you are correct

Yaaay!!!
