I can't access the link. Can you tell me the point(s)?

Try it now

@susanna

OpenStudy (secret66):

\[y - y^1 = m(x - x^1) \] \[y-6=2(x+6)\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

wrong

OpenStudy (anonymous):

"Incorrect. The correct answers are 2 and –6."

OpenStudy (susanna):

@secret66 was right. He just plugged in 2 for m-the slope, and -6 for -x, which would make a positive 6.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

But the bottom line is. It wasn't. 6.

OpenStudy (susanna):

the equation is y-y=m(x-x) If you plug in a negative number for x, it becomes positive. y-6=2(x-(-6)) and two negatives make a positive.

well apparently not to the damn computer.
