Hi please find the picture of the circuit in the attached photo. I have problems in finding the equivalent resistance of this circuit. In a 12V circuit, there are 4 resistors which are 4, 2, 5 and 3 ohms. I calculated the find the answer to be 6. Is it correct?

Please find attached question.

jhonyy9 (jhonyy9):

do you know what is the formula for equivalent resistor when there are resistor connected series and connected parallel - do you know it ?

jhonyy9 (jhonyy9):

do you can writing here how you have got 6 ?

jhonyy9 (jhonyy9):

and now i see that you have wrote above there are 4 resistors when truly there are 5 resistors - yes ? - 5,3,2,4 and 2 - yes ?

OpenStudy (vincent-lyon.fr):

6 Ω is correct

OpenStudy (farcher):

The diagram was drawn to make it for you to see that it is actually quite a simple circuit. See attached diagram.
