@zepdrix

Nnesha (nnesha):

given g(x)=14 so replace g(x) with 14

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I don't get what your saying

@pooja195

Nnesha (nnesha):

substitute g(x) for 14 make sense now ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so it would look like this? 14 = 4x + 6

Nnesha (nnesha):

the question is find x value when g(x) is 14 so we have to replace g(x) with 14 and then solve for x

Nnesha (nnesha):

yes that's correct!

Nnesha (nnesha):

now solve for x first you should move the constant term to the left side and then you should divide both sides by the number attached to the variable :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Okay so would it be the second option

Nnesha (nnesha):

post the work how did you get 2nd one ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I redid the problem its 2

Nnesha (nnesha):

work? how did you cancel out the 6 from right side ?
