How do the cilia and flagella of protists differ from those of bacteria? Bacteria do not have cilia or flagella while protists have both. Bacteria have simple cilia and flagella while protists have complex cilia and flagella. Bacteria have complex cilia and flagella while protists have simple cilia and flagella. Bacteria only have cilia while protists have both cilia and flagella.
Ideas? c:
No ideas whatsoever.
I consider its somehow related to the 9+0 in Prokaryotes & 9+2 in Eukaryotes arrangement of protein...
Hmmm..
Three types of flagella have so far been distinguished; bacterial, archaeal and eukaryotic. ... Eukaryotic flagella—those of animal, plant, and protist cells—are complex ... than the 9+2 axoneme found in both flagella and motile cilia undulipodia.~
Still confused. With the information you provided I am going to assume it's C?
it D Bacteria only have cilia while protists have both cilia and flagella.
My thanks.
you're welcome :)
