Points A and B lie on the graph of the equation y = 5.2x. What are the y-coordinates for each point? Point A: (−6,_) Point B: (7,_)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Just plug in your Point A x-coordinate into y=5.2x to get the Point A and do the same for Point B

?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

what are you confused about?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

how do i plug it in?

OpenStudy (victoriasushchik):

well if you use y=mx+b then y=5.2(slope)x + 0 so y intercept is 0 and then just graph it to figure out that A:(-6,31.2) and B:(7,36.4)

OpenStudy (victoriasushchik):

did this help??

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes! thank you.
