I need some math help. Can you please help? I will medal and fan.

OpenStudy (miss.rose):

@Ghostgate

OpenStudy (boldjon):

what is it

OpenStudy (miss.rose):

Pre-Algebra Here are the first five questions:

OpenStudy (miss.rose):

@YoungStudier

OpenStudy (youngstudier):

So, just for clarification, the choices with the black dot by them are the ones you selected as the answer, right? :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

question 1-- correct question 2-- you forgot to multiply 7 through the whole bracket question 3 -- correct question 4--correct

OpenStudy (anonymous):

question 5-- correct

OpenStudy (miss.rose):

@YoungStudier yes they are. @TheRealAdolf Can you help me with a few more?

OpenStudy (miss.rose):

@TheRealAdolf For question 2 would it be A?

OpenStudy (youngstudier):

I believe so, yes. ^-^

OpenStudy (miss.rose):

Okay, thank you. Here are the next set of questions:

OpenStudy (miss.rose):

@TheRealAdolf

OpenStudy (anonymous):

question 6-- -s/2 <= 4-5 s<= (-1)(-2) s <= 2 therefor the answer would be c question 7-- all the numbers for the solution set must be less than -3 for the equation to be satisfied. therefor the solution is b question 8--the total length is 5/9 the total perimetre so (5/9)*126=70 you need to then divide this number by 2 because there are 2 sides of a rectangle, to find the length you need to divide 70 by 2 which equals 35 units length. therefor the answer would be b question 9-- means x/y= what so after some quick organization, the equation would read x/y = 9/14 question 10-- speed = distance / time s = (2/3)/(1/3) = (2*3) / (1*3) = 2 miles/hour question 11-- you could just google but in a test you only have unit conversions: (316ft) * (0.3m/1ft) - note the feet will cancel out and the unit left is meters. therefor your answer is correct question 12-- i believe you are correct here aswell

OpenStudy (ghostgate):

@TheRealAdolf I know you don't have wrong intentions, but we aren't allowed to freely give answers away. I have been suspended before for doing so... so I had to reevaluate how I do my work.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

oh ok lol thanks for letting me know. how do you give hints in math?

OpenStudy (boldjon):

glad u go it

OpenStudy (ghostgate):

You help them through the system, the step by step progress, like: 5x - 25 = 50 I would start by asking if the person knows what to do first, if not you explain what to do, to conclude that you add 25 to both sides and allow them to figure it out. 5x = 75 Next you do the same thing until you eventually help guide them to the answer by not giving it away, such as you would conclude that you need to divide 5 by both sides, then you ask them what is 75 divided by 5 equal, it equals 15. x = 15 Once you evaluate the answer, ask if they don't understand anything and try to explain to them. That's what I do anyway. Just friendly advice. ;) {---Ghostgate---}
