@Lovelarap Help?
OpenStudy (anonymous):
Try mathway, give me 10 min. Have to go eat. sorry
zepdrix (zepdrix):
\[\large\rm 4x-8y=8\]Slope intercept is of this form: \(\large\rm y=mx+b\)
See how the left side of the equation needs to be ONLY y?
So we need to apply some steps to isolate our y in this equation.
Let's subtract 4x from each side,\[\large\rm 4x-4x-8y=8-4x\]\[\large\rm -8y=8-4x\]k that got rid of the x stuff.
How do we deal with the -8?
It's `multiplying` the y,
we need to undo multiplication somehow...
MsBrains (ms-brains):
Okay, What mathway told me is, The slope y=1/2x−1

sound right. i calculated. : )
MsBrains (ms-brains):
Alright, That is part A,
Now B
OpenStudy (anonymous):
ok
OpenStudy (anonymous):
just use the equation y=1/2x−1
OpenStudy (anonymous):
the slope is 1/2 and the y=-1

try graph it ; )
MsBrains (ms-brains):
I don't get it. What am I supposed to write for B again?
OpenStudy (anonymous):
the slope is 1/2 and the y intercept is -1
MsBrains (ms-brains):
and C?
OpenStudy (anonymous):
not sure...

Last one, I;m so exited to get done with this!
awe man. damn
OpenStudy (anonymous):
wait, think i know! : D
MsBrains (ms-brains):
Hope fully you do!
OpenStudy (anonymous):
y=ax+b
MsBrains (ms-brains):
Yay!

the y intesection should be 1
OpenStudy (anonymous):
soooo
your equation might be y=x+1
OpenStudy (anonymous):
not might, should be
OpenStudy (anonymous):
So
A is y=1/2x−1
B is the slope is 1/2 and the y intercept is -1
C is y=x+1
OpenStudy (anonymous):
good luck! : )
