HELLL!!! what is the difference between happiness and contentment Business class :)
This seems like more of a moral or personal opinion that a true definition, it is very difficult to answer this. However, it does depend on the person. Short Answer: The definition of Happiness is the state of being happy. The definition of Contentment is a state of happiness or satisfaction. They are both pleasing emotional states, but Happiness is more intense than Contentment, which is a bit of a broad term, and generally means the person is pleased with their situation. Long Answer: Different people have different ideas of happiness or contentment. If you have a paranoid doomsday-prepper type person, they will be content if they feel prepared and supplied for a world-wide disaster. They will be happy if they no longer have a fear of an apocalypse, and instead are able to enjoy life in the present and not worry about the future. If you have a monk or nun, they will almost always be content with their lives because they are doing the Lord's work and are fulfilled by doing this. While certain things are off-limits to these people, they might be happy if they see the world around them has also been touched by the Lord, and feel that his message has been shared. In any case, the differences of happiness and contentment all point at the premise of being in a good emotional state. Happiness might mean personal satisfaction, and contentment might mean a confidence in your environment. Sorry the long answer got all religious and post-apocalypsy :) I'm not any of those things. You can copy this if you need to, I don't care about plagiarism or any of that. Hope this helps!
