Please help...

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Write y= -2/3x + 7 in standard form using integers

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I need someone to explain how to do this, i will fan and medal

OpenStudy (trojanpoem):

Ax + By = C

OpenStudy (trojanpoem):

Turn it into this form.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes, how do i do that?

OpenStudy (trojanpoem):

Multiply the whole equation times any denominator.

OpenStudy (trojanpoem):

Do with me step by step.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so... im not sure how to do that would i multiply each number individually or as a group? im really confused, sorry

OpenStudy (trojanpoem):

Multiply each term times the denominators in our case only 3 is denominator so 3y = -2x + 21 Now get y ,x in same side: 3y + 2x = 21 Ay + Bx = C DONE!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

y= -2/3x + 7 y(3) = -2/3x(3) + 7(3) 3y = -2x +21

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so those are the steps?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

wait so my answer options are 2x + 3y =21, 3x-2y =21, -2x -3y=21, -2x +3y +7

OpenStudy (anonymous):

would it be 2x +37 =21?

OpenStudy (trojanpoem):

yes.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thank you ((:

OpenStudy (trojanpoem):

any time
