@mc_Helper

OpenStudy (daisyduck04):

What is the distance between the points (5, –6) and (5, 2)? A. 1 B. 3 C. 4 D. 8

OpenStudy (anonymous):

hmm..... let me think

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Does the question have a chart?

OpenStudy (daisyduck04):

no not this time :/

OpenStudy (anonymous):

You can use the distance formula. If you don't know it: sqrt[(x_2-x_1)^2+(y_2-y_1)^2]. X_2, x_1, y_2, y_1 are all the points. So x_1=5, x_2=5, y_1=-6, and y_2=2. So substituting we get the answer...?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

o h ok that is fine :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Please do not give direct answers... students have to learn

TheSmartOne (thesmartone):

this student isn't interested in learning..

OpenStudy (daisyduck04):

@thesmartone no need to be rude :(

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I somewhat agree..... but you do not have to be rude

TheSmartOne (thesmartone):

I've seen it twice... people try to help her, but she makes excuses and tags others who she probably knows will give her the answer...

OpenStudy (daisyduck04):

oh hey @mathman101

OpenStudy (anonymous):

A. and B. are waaaayyy off on this question that leaves C. and D. wich one makes the most sense?

OpenStudy (daisyduck04):

umm d?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

that is correct

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Correct! see you dont need direct answers

OpenStudy (daisyduck04):

:)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Remember its okay to want help... but direct answers are against the rules on open study :)
