What is the point-slope form of the equation of a line that passes through the point (1, 4) and has a slope of −3? A. y-1= -3(x-4) B. y+4=3(x+1) C. y+4=-3(x+1) D. y-4=-3(x-1)

jigglypuff314 (jigglypuff314):

Hello and Sorry for the late reply :-/ point slope form can be represented as: y - k = m(x - h) where the point (h, k) is a point on the line and m is the slope of the line you have been given that a point is (1, 4) = (h, k) and slope is -3 = m be careful of negatives and plugging those numbers in should hopefully get you to your answer :) again, sorry about the late reply :( but I hope that I was able to help! ^_^
