@dreamcaster teach me plz
Okay, so the very first thing you need to know is to always start a command with `\(` Then after you've inserted all your code, you end the command with `\)` Here's an example command: `\(\rm\Large\color{red}{Hello!}\)` which makes \(\Large\rm\color{red}{Hello!}\)
Yeah, the missing bracket.
\(\rm\Large\color{red}{Hello!}\)
\(\cal\color{blueviolet}{Perfect!}\)
\(\rm\Large\color}{blue}yay!}\)
So now, you can start to play with the different sizes and fonts. The sizes are: \tiny \(\tiny\color{red}{Test}\) \scriptsize \(\scriptsize\color{red}{Test}\) \small \(\small\color{red}{Test}\) \large \(\large\color{red}{Test}\) \Large \(\Large\color{red}{Test}\) \LARGE \(\LARGE\color{red}{Test}\) \huge \(\huge\color{red}{Test}\) Fonts: \it \(\large\it\color{red}{Test}\) \tt \(\large\tt\color{red}{Test}\) \bf \(\large\bf\color{red}{Test}\) \rm \(\large\rm\color{red}{Test}\) \cal \(\large\cal\color{red}{Test}\) \frak \(\large\frak\color{red}{Test}\)
Also, for the color, you only need brackets around the color name. Example: `\(\cal\color{blue}{Hello}\)`
Typing almost any color name will work. :)
can u teach me two colors at once
Two colors? Like I did for the "Thanks for using OpenStudy" thing?
yes
It's pretty easy, just use two color codes and separate brackets for the words, for example: `\(\cal\color{blueviolet}{Thanks~for~using~}\color{cornflowerblue}{Open}\color{lightgreen}{Study!}\)` makes \(\cal\color{blueviolet}{Thanks~for~using~}\color{cornflowerblue}{Open}\color{lightgreen}{Study!}\) A simpler concept: `\(\cal\color{blue}{Dream}\color{purple}{Caster}\)` makes \(\cal\color{blue}{Dream}\color{purple}{Caster}\)
Also, to insert spaces, use ~
You can experiment with it a bit to understand it more. I'm gonna go cook and eat some dinner, now. I should be back in about 20-30 minutes. Have fun! :)
ok thx
\(\cal\color{blueviolet}{Thanks~for~using~}\color{cornflowerblue}{Open}\color{lightgreen}{Study!}\)
brb
in 30 minutes
ok back
I am back as well :p
lol
Is it all making sense so far? :)
kinda
What's confusing you?
well its kinda hard to do words like umm when u did \(\cal\color{blue} and then u put dream and then u put }\color{purple}{ and then put caster i did the same thing but put my name in
@DreamCaster
message me when u come back ok plz
It is a little difficult at first, yes. Maybe the easiest way to remember it is to remember that after each slash, you're starting a new code. With a new color command, you need a new bracket command, like so: `\(\large\color{red}{This}\color{gold}{~takes}\color{lime}{~practice!}\)` Which makes \(\large\color{red}{This}\color{gold}{~takes}\color{lime}{~practice!}\)
oh ok thank you
You're welcome! :) Those are the basics, so once you've practiced them some more, I can show you some more advanced stuff.
You're welcome. It's really fun to play with the different sizes and fonts, as they can make some pretty neat things. After some time, some of the advanced things I can teach you are some other spacing techniques, special characters, and making some really cool artwork.
Have any questions? :)
no not really @Whitemonsterbunny17
Okay, just let me know. :)
ok thx @Whitemonsterbunny17
\(\Huge\frak\color{purple}{Cookie}\color{black}{Monster}\)
\(\cal\color{blue}{Dream}\color{purple}{Caster}\)
