OpenStudy (anonymous):

wat is it?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

wht the question

OpenStudy (anonymous):

For exercises 1 and 2, find the missing angle measure. Then classify the triangle by its angles. 1. (1 point) • 35º, right • 35º, obtuse • 35º, scalene • 35º, acute 2. (1 point) • 25º, right • 25º, acute • 65º, right • 65º, acute For exercises 3 and 4, classify each triangle by its sides. 3. (1 point) • scalene • isosceles • equilateral • acute

OpenStudy (anonymous):

OH CRAP O.O

OpenStudy (anonymous):

4. (1 point) • scalene • isosceles • equilateral • acute 5. Which of the following can represent the measures of the three angles in an acute triangle? (1 point) • 59º, 61º, 62º • 30º, 25º, 125º • 56º, 72º, 52º • 90º, 45º, 45º

OpenStudy (anonymous):

long time since ive seen this

OpenStudy (anonymous):

here are the attachments

OpenStudy (anonymous):

105+40-180+?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

90+65-180=?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

THOESE r ur first 2

OpenStudy (anonymous):

105+40-180+=145

OpenStudy (anonymous):

u forgot to subtract 180

OpenStudy (anonymous):

90+65-180=-25

OpenStudy (anonymous):

and remove the negitive from the awnser

OpenStudy (anonymous):

okay then its 25?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yea

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@iGreen hellp plz

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i dont rly know how ti get the other 2

OpenStudy (anonymous):

here this may help

OpenStudy (anonymous):

A=hbb 2

OpenStudy (anonymous):

a=hbb\2

OpenStudy (anonymous):

no dont use tht well i gtg

OpenStudy (igreen):

The 3 angles of a triangle have to add up to 180 degrees.

OpenStudy (igreen):

For figure 1: 105 + 40 + x = 180 Solve for 'x'

OpenStudy (igreen):

Oh, you already did that one.

OpenStudy (igreen):

Did you classify it yet, though?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

okay so the answer for 1 is?

OpenStudy (igreen):

Right triangles have one angle that is equal to 90 degrees. Obtuse triangles have one angle that is greater than 90 degrees. Scalene triangles have all angles less than 90 degrees.

OpenStudy (igreen):

So is Figure 1 a right, obtuse, or scalene triangle?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

okay so its obtuse?

OpenStudy (igreen):

Correct, so our answer is..?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

B

OpenStudy (igreen):

Oh, sorry Acute angles have all angles less than 90 degrees. Scalene has nothing to do with the angles of a triangle, that's only the sides of a triangle.

OpenStudy (igreen):

Correct*

OpenStudy (igreen):

Sorry, my computer just randomly turned off.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

same here

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so I guess @iGreen went

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I'm still here <:

OpenStudy (anonymous):

oh yay your still here

OpenStudy (anonymous):

any one know the answer

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@caseysorensen

OpenStudy (anonymous):

can someone help please

OpenStudy (igreen):

What did you get for question #2?

OpenStudy (igreen):

90 + 65 = ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

155

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@iGreen help me

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@mathmale

OpenStudy (mathmale):

For exercises 1 and 2, find the missing angle measure. Then classify the triangle by its angles. 1. (1 point) • 35º, right • 35º, obtuse • 35º, scalene • 35º, acute Please look at the diagram. You'll see that two of the three interior angles of the triangle are labeled; one is 105 and the other is 40 degrees. Using the fact that the sum of the three interior angles must be 180 degrees, please find the measure of the currently unmarked angle.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

okay

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so what are the answers

OpenStudy (mathmale):

Daisy, you don't really think you can just ask for answers without doing any work, do you? The sum of the 3 interior angles is 180 degrees. This is always true One of the interior angles is 40 degrees, and the other is 105 degrees. Add these two together. Then, find the third angle.

OpenStudy (mathmale):

Please don't tell me you're not good at math. You can learn, especially if you're willing to put in the necessary effort. Always true: The sum of the interior angles of a triangle is 180 degrees. Example: If the three interior angles of (any) triangle are A, B and C, then A+B+C=180 degrees. Here, A=105 degrees, B=40 degrees. Your job is to find angle C.
