@zepdrix

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@daisyduck04

OpenStudy (anonymous):

3= -10

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so i think it is -7

OpenStudy (anonymous):

eh? why

OpenStudy (anonymous):

because the top is 30

OpenStudy (anonymous):

oh I forgot to divide, so it's -3?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

and 6/2 is 3 and 9-1 is 8 so the bottom would then be 3-8 which is -5 and then times that by -2 which is 10 so it would be 30 ------ = -10 10

OpenStudy (anonymous):

divide 30 by 10 and you get 3. so 3 = -10

OpenStudy (anonymous):

isn't the denominator -10?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I think, I could be wrong sorry! but if you are trying to find "y" then i think you would add - 10 to 3 so it would be -7

OpenStudy (anonymous):

how'd you get ten though

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i dont know, how did you get that?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

you don't know how you got 10??

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@AlexandervonHumboldt2

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i'm asking for some backup :3

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@Mehek14

OpenStudy (anonymous):

-2[6 divided by 2-(9-1)] -2 [3- (9-1)] -2 [ 3- (8)] -2 [-5] -2 * -5 is 10

OpenStudy (anonymous):

That is probably a good idea haha

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ohh I see

OpenStudy (anonymous):

So I did it wrong when subtracting 3-8

OpenStudy (anonymous):

You can try putting it into here : https://mathway.com/

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok thanks

OpenStudy (anonymous):

oh, yea, no, you have to divide the 2 by the 6 before you subtract the (9-1)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Hope that helped!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

You did, thanks!
