Why am I not getting this. I'm over analyzing the simplest thing again. How do you add both sides of a fraction and a variable that you do not know the meaning of? https://www.wolframalpha.com/input/?i=2%2F3n+%3D+14
So are you basically asking how to solve for n in here? \[\frac{2}{3}n = 14\]
Yes :) I'm really a dumb one. Do explain real quick! I'd appreciate it!
Step 1 of 2 ) Multiply BOTH sides of the equation by 3 and what do you get?
Waiting for an answer .........
OTL
2 x 3 is 9 n x 3 is....well there's my issue. What on earth is n?
And sorry for not answering for so long. OS was lagging and freezing severely.
woops! 2 x 3 is 6 excuse me
@retirEEd :)
Sorry I was helping somebody else... I got to figure out where we are at
Thats ok. You paid me back because I didn't answer for the longest time. No worries :)
you didn't multiple both sides.... (2n/3) * 3 = 14 * 3 okay 2n = 42 completing the math Any questions before we move to step 2?
If you want to know the value of n, how would you solve ....... 2n = 42 ??
Apparently your OS is having issues again. Mine does that too. Later....
14 x 3 is 42. So what is the use of the fraction with the n? and it was doing it again, sorry.
Re-posting this ....... If you want to know the value of n, how would you solve ....... 2n = 42 ??
Well you wouldn't multiply it, because that equals 84 and that doesn't make sense.
Sorry I was on the phone... What number (n) times 2 equals 42 ?
2 x 21 = 42
@retirEEd
@retirEEd
I also need help with something else when you can?
Sorry side tracked again... 21 is correct, Can't help now I have to go run the clock at a basketball game for our high school.
Alright, thanks for doing what you've done :) Have a great day.
Bye.
