Two stores are having sales on the same shirts. The sale at Store 1 is “2 shirts for $22” and the sale at Store 2 is “Each $12.99 shirt is 10% off”. a. Explain how much will you save by buying at Store 1. b. If Store 3 has shirts originally priced at $20.98 on sale for 55% off, does it have a better deal than the other stores? Justify your answer.

CAN ANYONE HELP ME!?!?!?!?!?

563blackghost (563blackghost):

Lets see how much we would save at Store 2 so we would first multiply 12.99 with .10 which is the decimal form of 10% to get the price of the discount... \[12.99 \times .1 = ?\]

563blackghost (563blackghost):

Once you get that answer you would then subtract that from the original price to get the price with the discount....

It's 11.70 cents, is that correct? |dw:1453430050792:dw|

563blackghost (563blackghost):

Yup it is $11.69 now we would muliply that by two to get the total for two shirts...

Oh, ok Thank you sooo much again!
