Find the slope of the graph of the following: 9x-3y=15

OpenStudy (i_love_my_nieces):

-3 3 -1/3 1/3

this is called a linear equation which has a general form of \[y = mx + c\] where y refers to y-axis, m is the slope, x is the x-axis and c is the y-intercept we must rearrange the equation to get this form so \[3y = 9x -15\] then divide both sides by 3 to get rid of it \[\frac{ 3y }{ 3 } = \frac{ 9x }{ 3 } - \frac{ 15 }{ 3 }\] Then it will be : \[y = 3x -5\] remember the m is the slope pf the equation which is 3 in our case
