OpenStudy (ohmath123):

Find the range of h if h is defined by h(t)=|t|+1 and the domain of h is (1, 4]

OpenStudy (neonumbrella5115):

Do you know what range means?

OpenStudy (ohmath123):

range would be the y which in this case its the number 4? @neonumbrella5115

OpenStudy (amity):

h(1)=2 and h(4)=5 now 1 is not included in domain hence it's image will not be included in range....hence range is 2<h<_5 or (2,5].

OpenStudy (tkhunny):

Domain: Stuff what goes in. Range: Stuff what comes out. Absolute values does nothing to positive numbers. With a Domain of (1,4], simply discard the absolute values. You will see that the Range is (2,5] - just add 1.
