HELP ME SIMPLIFY A POLYNOMIAL. NOW.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Hello

OpenStudy (anonymous):

sure whats the problem

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Ok. Ima paste a polynomial, I need help simplifying it to STANDARD form

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok sounds good

OpenStudy (anonymous):

9x^2y − 4x + 3y^3x − 2y^2

OpenStudy (anonymous):

The ^ raises exponents.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I can picture it wait

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok yea that would help

OpenStudy (anonymous):

OpenStudy (anonymous):

there.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok so for standard form you list it in decreasing order of exponents, so the one with the biggest exponent first and then just keep getting smaller

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Oh, the terms you mean

OpenStudy (anonymous):

you will come out with this\[3y^3x+9x^2-2y^2-4x\]yep thats what i mean! does that make sense?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Aww, you even took time to make it all curvy and helpful. Yes. Lemme see...

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Oh Thanks. I understand GURL

OpenStudy (anonymous):
