Doves, WHICH ARE CONSIDERED SYMBOLS OF PEACE AND BEAUTY, are related to plain old pigeons. a) independent clause b) adjective clause c) adverb clause d) noun clause

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I know it's not (a) or (c). I think it may be (b), but (d) has put me in doubt...

OpenStudy (anonymous):

What does the clause do? Does it describe the subject? Does it do the same thing a noun does?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

well I think a noun clause is a noun and it's modifiers, it's talking about a thing, but wouldn't it be (b)? I'm so confused

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Okay, so a noun clause can be: an obj. of preposition, subject, direct object, or predicate. Basically, a noun clause does anything a noun can do. Adjective clause is often in the middle of a sentence, and it is started with relative pronoun like which, who, whom, and where.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yes, it is B. If you're still confused, let me know.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Oh that explains it! Thank you for making things clear!

No problem! Glad I could help ya. :)
