\(S \implies R\) is equivalent to \(¬S\) v \(R\) So the statement is the same as \(R\) v \(¬S\) v \(R\) The or R part appears twice but we only need it once, so what we finally have is \(R\) v \(¬S\) Note that I was okay to drop the parenthesis because it was a chain of only or statements, no mixing of any other logical symbols.
