Choose the sense to which the text quotation most appeals.
"In a far corner a woman was sitting with her four children around a large dish piled with mujaddarah and pickled turnips, Their preoccupation with their meal rendering them completely oblivious to what was going on around them in the baths." a. sight b. taste c. touch d. sound e. smell
I think it is either a or b, but I am not sure.
There is also this one. "Its mother had put it on her lap, twisting one of its legs around her and proceeding to scrub its face with soap and pour hot water over it until its skin was scarlet red." a. sight b. taste c. touch d. sound e. smell I assume the answer is c but I'm really not sure because it could be a
@StudyGurl14 When the user is confused between 2 choices, I suggest you don't blurt out one of them as the answer.
I explained it...@Conqueror What do you suppose I do instead?
That's kind of what I was thinking, but I still think it could be taste (b) because it does mention food. So confused.
Well, an explanation along with the answer doesn't work so well either. When you give the answer, then add an explanation, the user could just take the answer and run off without reading the explanation. Instead, you can guide the user to understanding so that the user himself can make the decision.
That is a good point @Conqueror . However, perhaps leaving it up to the user would be giving them the option to learn from it if they choose and thus respecting their decisions. Also, what do you think about the question? Do you really think it is a? I still think it might be b.
I'm not sure.
Damn, okay.
Hmmmm.... Just took the assessment. The first one was actually b (taste) and the second one was c (touch).
