HELP MEDAL AND FAN IM SO DESPERATE

OpenStudy (ebayminer126):

What's the question?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Find the distance between the points on the coordinate plane. Points B and (–1, 2) A. 3 B. 4 C. 5 D. 6

OpenStudy (anonymous):

do you have the attachment?

OpenStudy (studygurl14):

Do you have a picture?

OpenStudy (ebayminer126):

I don't see point B

OpenStudy (studygurl14):

what are the coordinates of point B?

OpenStudy (studygurl14):

Me neither @Ebayminer126

OpenStudy (anonymous):

brb

OpenStudy (studygurl14):

Are you sure you have the right graph @aliyahbufford1239442

OpenStudy (anonymous):

OpenStudy (ebayminer126):

C

OpenStudy (studygurl14):

Okay, so now tell us the coordinates of point B.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

5

OpenStudy (ebayminer126):

Yes

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so c is the answer

OpenStudy (anonymous):

?

OpenStudy (studygurl14):

No, it's not

OpenStudy (anonymous):

oh

OpenStudy (ebayminer126):

!?

OpenStudy (twistrose):

I would say D because (-1,2) is just below positive two, count up to the line with B, then count over to B. That would get you 6. Do you see it.

OpenStudy (twistrose):

Sorry" Do you see it?"

OpenStudy (studygurl14):

You need to use the distance formula \(\Large\sqrt{(x_2-x_1)^2+(y_2-y_1)^2}\) Point B: (5,2) and (-1,2)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

kinda

OpenStudy (studygurl14):

Or, you could just count...

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so D

OpenStudy (studygurl14):

Yes

OpenStudy (anonymous):

2 more

OpenStudy (anonymous):

What is the distance between the points (–8, –2) and (–7, –2)? A. 1 B. 6 C. 10 D. 15

OpenStudy (studygurl14):

What is 8-7? That's your answer

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Three vertices of a rectangle are (–2, 1), (–2, –3), and (4, –3). What are the coordinates of the fourth corner point of the rectangle? A. (–2, 4) B. (–3, 4) C. (4, 1) D. (4, 3)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@Twistrose can you help more

OpenStudy (twistrose):

yes

OpenStudy (anonymous):

the question is up already

OpenStudy (twistrose):

hang on i have to go ill be back and ill look at it

OpenStudy (anonymous):

^

|dw:1454527984874:dw|

OpenStudy (twistrose):

im back

OpenStudy (twistrose):

The answer to this is C because all yo have to do iscount the spaces frm (-2,1) to (-2,-3) and dothat from (4.-3)or you could count from (-2.-3) to (4,-3) and do that many from (-2,1). Both of these will get you (4,1). Hope this helps!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thanks got an 80

OpenStudy (twistrose):

congratulations glad I could help
