Hm, I heard it was C. This question is really confusing me...
The store is offering 50% off if you buy two bags though, so I think it means the total cost of both bags will be halved. Right or wrong?
Here let me make the question easier to read: 3. You are buying two bags of potato chips at the grocery store. You have a manufacturer's coupon for $0.50 off and the store is offering 50% off if you buy two bags. The discounts are stackable. How do you compute your final cost? A. Subtract $0.50 off each bag and then divide by 2. B. Divide each bag by two, subtract $0.50 off each bag, and then add them together. C. Add the two bags together, divide by 2, and then subtract by $0.50 D. Subtract $0.50 off the first bag, add them together, and then divide by 2.
because if they are offering 50% of if you by 2 bags and you have a coupon for 0.50 off you divide each bag by two subtract $0.50 off of each bag and then add them together
I don't think that's right... thanks for answering anyways! Looks like I'll be staring at this question for awhile...
