OpenStudy (ohmath123):

Find the equations of at least three lines that intersect each other at the point (6, -2)?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Is there more to this question? @ohmath123

OpenStudy (ohmath123):

no, its a problem solving class where we have to use critical thinking skills and figure it out whether we related to real life events and such @Austin1617

OpenStudy (mathmale):

All three (or more) lines have to pass thru the same point, (6,-2). You could use the point-slope formula referring to the same point, but choosing three or more different values for the slope, m.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I got this. x=6, y=-2, x=-3y

OpenStudy (ohmath123):

I was just doing the same and got y=-2 and x=6 and for the third one just pick another point to find the slope? @Austin1617

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yeah.

OpenStudy (mathmale):

If you have any doubts regarding the correctness of your answers, graph those answers. Do all of these lines pass through (6,-2)?

OpenStudy (ohmath123):

Thank you, once i go back and check they do pass through the (6,-2) @mathmale
