Okay. There is really no "Best Way" to solve these types of questions. You really just have to take it part by part and "talk it out". Now in this equation \(6 (y +3)\), the sum of \(y\) and \(3\) is being multiplied by \(6\). If you still don't understand I actually did a lesson on this a few days ago.
